What is the Approach?
Managers’ real concerns and challenges can never be dealt with in an open forum or during a group training session. This is the primary reason why individual business coach training intervention works for this group.
The programme uses the Success Insights® tool in the coaching process. The Success Insights® tool delivers ‘heightened awareness’ as the executive gains an understanding of their strengths and challenges. They also gain an understanding of their own communication style and the impact of their style on others. This improved understanding provides them with life-long learning skills and valuable insights into the whole communication process.
I also introduce a 4-Step coaching conversation model which provides a process to help executives develop key coaching skills which can be applied immediately within the workplace.
This Connected Learning Experience has been corporate-tested and refined for a number of years. It incorporates the best concepts of One-2-One business coaching intervention and coaching training to enable managers gain an in-depth understanding of themselves and the coaching process.
How does it Work?
The programme is run over a 6-8 week period (3 x 2-hour sessions) - dates agreed with the client following each session. The programme uses the Success Insights® profile to help the executive gain an understanding of their strengths and challenges and they are coached to help them overcome these challenges.
I introduce the 4-Step coaching conversation model which effectively trains the executive to coach their staff and this skill can be applied immediately within their workplace. The coaching model and skills learned can then be practiced in between sessions. Through the 4-Step coaching model, this improved understanding provides the manager with valuable insights into the whole communication and coaching process.
